Jesus warned us to watch only for Him, and that many will come in an attempt to deceive mankind by using His Name (John 10:1-18). Is such a deceiver waiting in the wings at this very moment, and is his name Maitreya, the supposed “World Teacher”?
Let’s examine some of the attributes and names that Maitreya claims;
- “The Christ, Messiah, the fifth Buddha, Krishna, Kalki Avatar or the Imam Mahdi”.
- “The World Teacher and Head of a Spiritual Hierarchy”.
- “A man without fault”.
- “The Lord of Love”.
- “There has never been an Avatar, a Teacher, of such potency as Maitreya”.
- “The head of the kingdom of souls”.
- “The Divine Will, Love, Wisdom and Intelligence of God”.
And on, and on, and on. All the above quoted from Share International, an on-line and printed magazine that “covers news, events, and comments bearing on the priorities of Maitreya, the World Teacher”.
The leading light of Share International is a gentleman by the name of Benjamin Creme. He is the Maitreya’s front man and he talks much like a clone of John the Baptist, minus the locust, wild honey and camel’s hair.
All the above should be enough to; 1 – make your hair stand on end, or 2 – question this man’s grasp on reality. As Jesus said in Matthew 24;
Don’t let anyone mislead you, for many will come in my name, claiming, “I am the Messiah. And – if anyone tells you, “Look, here is the Messiah,” or “There he is,” don’t believe it. For false messiahs and false prophets will rise up and perform great signs and wonders …. See, I have warned you about this ahead of time. v4-5, v23-25.
Despite the above, the Maitreya and Share International actually have an excellent, sounding platform for world change and reorganization. In my next post, I will start to get into the details of their plan, and show how this all has been predicted in the Bible.
In Jesus’ Name,
